Boat Assembler


Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years experiences in a production marine manufacturing environment, and will already be familiar with the necessary tools and skills of the position. These tools include, but are not limited to: saws, grinders, battery powered drills, etc. Skills should include but are not limited to: woodworking, basic wiring, sub-assembly, mechanical assembly, etc. Candidates should expect a fast-paced, challenging environment with growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company. 


Qualified individuals need to perform the following operations:

  • Stock Room
  • Seating assembly/installation
  • Console assembly/installation
  • Decking/flooring
  • Boat assembly
  • Quality assurance
  • Loading


Education & Work Experience:

Position prefers 1-2 years of prior assembly experience in boating industry. 






Accounting Manager


Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven Financial Controller experience in a manufacturing environment; strong organizational leadership and management skills across multiple disciplines and areas with a high energy and positive attitude; ability to see a big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.


Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support and participate in the development of the company's strategic plans. 
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company and report to upper management while providing unique solutions and strategies. 
  • Compile and analyze financial and other reporting packages. 
  • Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets. 
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company's procedures.
  • Communicate financial metrics to upper management including fellow staff. 
  • Provide guidance, proactive solutions and ideas, and cross functional problem solving across all areas of the business. 
  • Work with and assist CFO on strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and securing of new funding. 
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance. 
  • Support month-end and year-end close process. 
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. 
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. 
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Ability to establish deadlines for themselves and the team
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced applications software expertise (Excel and Accounting Software)
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Experience with creating financial statements with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Cost accounting experience a plus
  • Auditing and inventory experience a plus
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry a plus but not required


Education:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required. Master of Business Administration preferred but not required. Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required.
